Older adults especially benefit from daily walks for a myriad of reasons that range from health to happiness. Explore the historic neighborhoods of San Jose with our walking group. The only requirement is the ability to walk as a group and rest when necessary. Sometimes we will stop for coffee at a local shop. Join our next class! \nBenefits \nStrengthen your bones\, prevent osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. Regular walking could halve the number of people over 45 who fracture a hip and help reduce blood pressure in some people with hypertension\, improve your balance and coordination\, decrease your likelihood of falling\, and keep your joints flexible.
