Gerardo, aka “Gera,” is Mescalero Apache and Pueblo, of New Mexico, on his maternal side. On his paternal side, he is Pame, of Aramberri, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He has been serving the Urban Indigenous community in Santa Clara County since 1992. Gerardo joined the IHCSCV team professionally, in 2019.
