Dr. McCraven has been working with IHC since 2014 and is board certified in Family Medicine. She started her work at IHC as a Locum Tenens (temporary) provider, covering for another provider who was on maternity leave. That was a great way for her to get my foot in the door at a clinic I really wanted to work for. Shortly after, she started her position as Associate Medical Director and has stayed on to become the Medical Director of the Meridian site. She loves working with her colleagues and solving problems for our members. She made the decision to break the mold and become a Family Physician at age 40, and the work she is able to do at IHC affirms this decision every day. Outside of work, she enjoys doing yoga, cooking, and reading.
